Yellow Cedar Habitat Suitability

I worked with a team of peers to create this report highlighting potential future habitat for yellow cedar in response to climate change. The analysis compares historical climate variables to a 2080 Atmospheric/Oceanic General Circulation Model to identify suitable habitat for yellow cedar in an assumed A1B emissions scenario. I created a custom coordinate system for my area of study, as well as automated geoprocessing tasks with batch processes, iterators, and logical statements within model builder. This report was part of my GIS Certificate at Western Washington University.
