STORMWATER MONITOR
SALISH SEA STORMWATER MONITORING
JANUARY 2023 - DECEMBER 2024
Produce otherwise absent stormwater quality data for outfalls around Bellingham Bay. My team’s data solely informed a Washington Department of Ecology study which led to the closure of a popular local swimming beach due to high bacteria levels. Use scientific equipment in the field, grow E. coli in a lab, and follow guidelines to produce a consistent, meaningful, organized dataset.
